Estate Security Management & Services
The key focus of The Wilds is the protection of our residents and property. Security services are rendered by an accredited security service provider. The security staff is well-trained, and the estate has a state-of-the-art control room and monitoring facility.
The Estate has an onsite security manager supported by the security company head office and in-house management team.
The unique concept of sub-estates enhances access control. All roads, main gates, electric perimeter fence and sub-estate entrances are monitored by cameras linked to the control room.
The security of the estate is managed by a security sub-committee that deals with all important matters to allow for optimal management and maintenance as well as improving systems on a continued basis. As part of the area community policing forum the estate management team are actively involved and promotes contact and interaction with all surrounding estates to optimize support on all levels.
The estate upholds strict rules regarding security and access control, where owners are also in control of visitors.

IMPORTANT ACCESS CONTROL NOTES
Access to The Wilds is subject to:
- Any driver requesting access must have a valid driver’s licence
- Access to the gated inner estates is restricted, and there is no open access to all estates for any visitor and or resident
- Contractors wanting entry will require proper identification, and no contractor may walk freely in the estate.
- Large vehicles are restricted to 10 meters
- Domestics, gardeners, and tenants must be vetted
- The speed limit in the estate is 40 km/h
