VETTING IN THE WILDS

Who must be vetted before being allowed in the estate?

  • Only for NEW Gardeners and Domestics
    The employer must register and complete the vetting process
  • All new tenants
    The owner of the property must complete the vetting request. The principal persons on the lease will be vetted.

Vetting Process

Please read carefully before completing the Vetting Form below:

  • Vetting Form below to be completed and submitted.
  • After the Vetting Form below is submitted, the
  • International Assessment Centre will confirm your booking via e-mail.
  • When your booking is confirmed, please keep to your time slot or a 50% admin fee will be deducted from the Vetting cost before the next appointment will be re-scheduled.

ON THE DAY OF THE VETTING – WHAT TO BRING TO THE VETTING OFFICE SITUATED AT GATE 1:

  • The employer / resident to accompany the person who will be vetted. ( Fingerprints of the person being vetted will be taken)
  • The Vetting Payment can be made electronically via EFT. View the Banking details of the International Assessment Centre listed on the Vetting request.(The Wilds Website: www.the-wilds.co.za)
  • NO Refunds will be made.  The domestic/gardener that you are vetting may already have been vetted by another resident. If vetting is older than 12 months in these instances, a new vetting process must be done.

The following supporting documents must be handed in on the day when vetting takes place:

  1. Proof of Payment, or the payment can be made with a bank card on the day of the Vetting.
  2. Certified RSA ID Copy
  3. Valid Workers Permit if a Non-South African – (the workers permit is a sticker stamped by Home Affairs and within the passport. (Not Expired)
  4. Certified Valid Passport if a Non-South African

* Copies of the above can be made on presentation of the original document/s at Gate 1

NO ASYLUM SEEKER DOCUMENTS ACCEPTED

Regarding New Tenants being vetted: the same process and documents required as mentioned above. Additional documents required for Tenants:

  1. A Copy of the Lease Agreement,
  2. Valid Driver’s Licence.


THE ABOVE IS REQUIRED BEFORE ACCESS TO THE ESTATE WILL BE PERMITTED.

The vetting agency will provide a report within 48 hours to the owner of the property during the week. Vetting done on Fridays the report will be made available on the Monday

A copy will be presented to The Wilds management office for record only.

IMPORTANT: IF THE VETTED PERSON DOES HAVE ANY CITATION OR RECORD IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE OWNER, TO INFORM THE REGISTRATION OFFICE TO REMOVE THE PERSON

A valid driver’s license will be needed if the person being vetted intends to drive a motor vehicle and requires access via the boom gates.
